We are thrilled to join forces with Stephen Kellogg as our latest artist partner. Witnessing the magic of SK on stage with our friends the Pat McGee Band in front of a sold out Wolf Trap audience established a lasting bond with us. Stephen's message of the importance of family, music, and the connection he seeks to establish with his audience resonate with us in a powerful way. In his words "I play music because I have a strong urge to reach people in a deep meaningful way, and it happens to be the vehicle that has most allowed me to do that."
He also take seriously his ability to increase awareness for important issues, through his music, live appearances, and the organizations he chooses to support. Closer to home for us, his music also serves as great comfort, encouragement, and a kick in the butt for those dealing with crisis and uncertainty. As anyone familiar with the cancer fight knows all too well, music is often effective when other means are not. SK's latest release "Objects in the Mirror" is a fantastic example of what music can do. More info is available at https://www.stephenkellogg.com/ and social media @stephen_kellogg
Our long time friend Pat McGee headlined our first concert event and provided us with a ton of magic memories. For over 20 years Pat and his awesome band have inspired us with kindness, friendship and artistic ability. He has introduced us to incredible musicians all over the country. Seeing these amazing artists perform in so many places with so many collaborators sparked our idea of using the power of music not just for pleasure, but also for good. Pat's annual events (definitely check out Down the Hatch and Ocean State of Mind) are perfect examples of the work he does to bring amazing musicians together with amazing fans for experiences that last a lifetime. Pat has personally experienced the horrible impact of cancer with his family and with his fans, so he is an advocate of early detection and awareness. When planning our inaugural benefit event, there was only one choice for us to cap a fantastic lineup. Listen to and buy his music at www.patmcgee.net and on social media platforms @patmcgee and @patmcgeeband
We first met Brian at Pat McGee's Down the Hatch gathering and Brian shone brightly in a constellation of fantastic musicians. We knew from that moment that the one of our three wishes was to persuade Brian to join us. He is a fantastic songwriter and one of the most engaging performers we have ever seen. He absolutely floored the audience at our debut event, and has become a fan favorite as a result. You can hear (and see) the lead tracks from his forthcoming album now on youtube and streaming music platforms, give it a spin to confirm that he is a remarkable artist, then buy his music - and learn more about him at www.briandunnemusic.net and on your favorite social media platform @briandunnemusic
