Tim Reed, Ph. D., Founder, President/Chairman
Tim is the CEO of BOSS and a firm believer that music is life itself. His experience as a radio personality, Air Force officer, live music devotee and cancer survivor led to the creation of We Rock Cancer. His doctoral studies led him to create a symposium and graduate course on "Rock and Roll Entrepreneurship" which serves as the found
Tim is the CEO of BOSS and a firm believer that music is life itself. His experience as a radio personality, Air Force officer, live music devotee and cancer survivor led to the creation of We Rock Cancer. His doctoral studies led him to create a symposium and graduate course on "Rock and Roll Entrepreneurship" which serves as the foundation for bringing key music stakeholders together to do good. At a young age, he lost his father to kidney cancer. He knows first-hand the difference that early detection and treatment can make. As Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors, his passion serves as the driving force for our team.
Sarah Farzayee - Mission Operations Director
Sarah brings extensive operations and philanthropy leadership experience to the WRC Team. Her focus is on broadening medical professional relationships and developing and implementing event logistics and strategies. Her family's personal experiences with cancer drive her to maximize the impact of prevention and early detection.
Bob Genter, Director
Bob S. Genter is the former president of the Defense and Civilian Sector of SAIC, which encompasses the company’s defense
and civilian business, including state and local, healthcare, and commercial customers.
Prior to joining SAIC, Genter held various leadership roles at CGI. Ultimately serving as vice president of Consulting Services,

Prior to joining SAIC, Genter held various leadership roles at CGI. Ultimately serving as vice president of Consulting Services, Commercial Markets, he was responsible for IT
and business process outsourcing, global delivery and industry-specific healthcare and insurance.
Genter earned his bachelor’s degree from St. Michael’s College in Vermont and his MBA in finance and strategy from the University of Rochester.
While in college, Bob lost his father to cancer. He enthusiastically supports early detection as the key to increase survival and remission rates.
Ned Glattly, Director
As a Managing Director at Deloitte, Ned leads the life sciences supply chain planning and fulfillment practice, focusing on initiatives that are truly improving people’s lives. The impact of early detection drives his desire to make a difference. His father survived skin cancer - thanks to early detection - but he lost one of his closest
As a Managing Director at Deloitte, Ned leads the life sciences supply chain planning and fulfillment practice, focusing on initiatives that are truly improving people’s lives. The impact of early detection drives his desire to make a difference. His father survived skin cancer - thanks to early detection - but he lost one of his closest friends to skin cancer at 35 years old, leaving behind a wife and a one-year old son. Ned is passionate about live music. He has played guitar in several bands and his daughter is a talented singer-songwriter. He believes the power of music can be harnessed to build awareness and catalyze early cancer detection, not only improving lives, but saving them.
Ira Gordon, CFO
Ira is a veterinary radiation oncologist, cancer researcher, and entrepreneur with leadership and financial management experience in veterinary medicine, oncology, healthcare innovation, and education.
He co-founded the Veterinary Angel Network for Entrepreneurs which he currently co-manages. He is the Chief Veterinary Officer of Vetce

He co-founded the Veterinary Angel Network for Entrepreneurs which he currently co-manages. He is the Chief Veterinary Officer of Vetcelerator, a company that provides business and operational support to independent veterinary practices. He is a medical and operations advisor to a network of veterinary specialty practices in Virginia. He also occasionally embarrasses himself by trying to remember how to play guitar.
Ira served as treasurer of the Veterinary Cancer Society from 2017-2021 and currently is the assistant treasurer to Temple Rodef Shalom in Mclean, VA.
Adrienne Smith - Action Advisor
Adrienne is the closest thing to perpetual motion that we know. Adrienne is the closest thing to perpetual motion that we know. As an actor, producer, entrepreneur and four-time national champion, she is the perfect person to advise WRC on opportunity analysis and taking action. Whether leading the team at Harlem Hip-Hop Tours, producing motion pictures with Danny Glover, creating the award winning Blitz Champz game, or scoring game-winning touchdowns for the Boston Renegades, she is an undeniable, unstoppable force. Adrienne knows that cancer never takes a day off, and her drive inspires us to increase early detection, and decrease the incidence of cancer.

Todd Perkins, M.D. serves as our Chief Medical Officer. He is Managing Partner at Metroderm DC and Foxhall Dermatology, both in Washington D.C., and the past president of the Washington D.C. Dermatological Society. He has served as an Attending Physician in the Residency Training Program at Washington Hospital Center where he shared his k
Todd Perkins, M.D. serves as our Chief Medical Officer. He is Managing Partner at Metroderm DC and Foxhall Dermatology, both in Washington D.C., and the past president of the Washington D.C. Dermatological Society. He has served as an Attending Physician in the Residency Training Program at Washington Hospital Center where he shared his knowledge and experience with future dermatologists. As a Board Certified Dermatologist, he has daily reminders of the importance of early detection of skin cancer. Dr. Perkins brings both a distinguished medical service record as well as experience in the concert promotion business to the We Rock Cancer family. Prior to medical school, Dr. Perkins co-founded and operated the Washington Harbour Music Festival, a blues and jazz festival at the Georgetown Waterfront. This unique combination of expertise and experience positions him perfectly to provide oversight for our medical education and screening mission and to advocate for the powerful role that music plays in personal health and well being.
Lido Ramadan, Vice Chairman
Lido has founded and led multiple successful small businesses through all stages of growth. He's the Founder/President of Aminad Consulting and served as co-founder/President of Censeo Consulting Group and COO of Oceaneast Associates. At a young age he lost a family member to cancer; that experience revealed to him the pain the disease
Lido has founded and led multiple successful small businesses through all stages of growth. He's the Founder/President of Aminad Consulting and served as co-founder/President of Censeo Consulting Group and COO of Oceaneast Associates. At a young age he lost a family member to cancer; that experience revealed to him the pain the disease can cause. In 2016, while his father was struggling with a brain tumor, he began leading DC area philanthropy events for the National Brain Tumor Society resulting in significant fundraising. He serves We Rock Cancer as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors.

John is the Chief Operating Officer at Vysnova Partners. He has led teams around the world in more than 30 countries supporting public health initiatives for the DOD, CDC, and USAID. John's loss of both family and close friends to cancer instilled a desire to increase access to early detection. He serves We Rock Cancer as the Chief Financial Officer and member of the Board of Directors.
Manik Rath, Director
Manik Rath serves on our Board of Directors. He is CEO of Daybreak LLC, a provider of advanced information technology and intelligence analysis services for the national security community. He is inspired by multiple family members and friends impacted by cancer. On using live music to create connections for early detection, Manik says “I know it’s only Rock and Roll. But I like it.”

Virgil Thompson, Industry Advisor
Virgil has over 33 years of experience as a rock radio executive and on-air talent. His family has been touched deeply by cancer. When he was 11, cancer claimed both his mother and grandmother. His sister is now a 17-year cancer survivor. She inspires him every day.
