Tim is the CEO of BOSS and a firm believer that music is life itself. His experience as a radio personality, Air Force officer, live music devotee and cancer survivor led to the creation of We Rock Cancer. His doctorate studies led him to create a symposium and graduate course on "Rock and Roll Entrepreneurship" which serves as the foundation for bringing key music stakeholders together to do good. At a young age, he lost his father to kidney cancer. He knows first-hand the difference that early detection and treatment can make. As Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors, his passion serves as the driving force for our team.
Lido has founded and led multiple successful small businesses through all stages of growth. He's the Founder/President of Aminad Consulting and served as co-founder/President of Censeo Consulting Group and COO of Oceaneast Associates. At a young age he lost a family member to cancer; that experience revealed to him the pain the disease can cause. In 2016, while his father was struggling with a brain tumor, he began leading DC area philanthropy events for the National Brain Tumor Society resulting in significant fundraising. He serves We Rock Cancer as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors.
John is the Chief Operating Officer at Vysnova Partners. He has led teams around the world in more than 30 countries supporting public health initiatives for the DOD, CDC, and USAID. His experience in deploying resources efficiently and effectively ensures that your financial support is focused on accomplishing our mission. John's loss of both family and close friends to cancer instilled a desire to increase access to early detection. He serves We Rock Cancer as the Chief Financial Officer and member of the Board of Directors.
We Rock Cancer is 100% reliant on volunteers to accomplish our mission. Christine recruits, trains, and deploys over fifty volunteers to ensure that our skin cancer screening, education, and fundraising missions all have the very best talent in exactly the right position. She also serves as a member of the Board of Directors.
Jim is a serial entrepreneur. He has started non-profits and for-profits alike. Jim is currently the COO of Forcewave, and Vice President of Nova Labs, a non-profit makerspace. Jim's dedication to We Rock Cancer originates with numerous family and friends suffering from cancer, including his mother, uncles, grandmother, and both grandfathers – one of whom had melanoma and mesothelioma. Jim also serves as a member of the We Rock Cancer Board of Directors.
Laura is the driving force behind our early detection screening mission. Cancer has impacted the lives of multiple family members and friends, and she has seen first hand the power of early detection. Laura orchestrates every moving piece of our healthcare professional network. We could not Rock Cancer without her.
Tiffany has worked with cancer patients in the areas of mentoring, programming, and fundraising on the national and local levels for over a decade. Tiffany leads the development of our partner and volunteer network. She brings a personal perspective to We Rock Cancer’s mission as a two-time cancer survivor. With her passion for music and her dedication of spreading awareness about early cancer prevention, she inspires us to make a difference every day.
A native Australian, Natalie comes from the country with the highest skin cancer rate in the world and has felt its devastating impact on people, families, and communities. She is a Human Resources focal point at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company World Headquarters in Akron, Ohio, leading Human Capital strategies, developing talent and building organizational capabilities for three key business units covering North and South America. Prior to moving to the US, she was the Director of Human Resources in Singapore & Director of Total Rewards for Goodyear's ASEAN region spanning 8 countries and 3,000 employees. Her focus with We Rock Cancer is on volunteer, community, and network engagement.
Virgil has over 33 years of experience as a rock radio executive and on-air talent. His family has been touched deeply by cancer. When he was 11, cancer claimed both his mother and grandmother. His sister is now a 17-year cancer survivor. She inspires him every day.
